This is one of my daily smoothies that I drink. I always put 12 ounces of water and at least 8 to 10 bananas. From there I add the frozen fruit. So sometimes its Mango and other times its Strawberries, it all just depends on what I’m craving at that moment.

I tried adding Chia Seeds to this smoothie to see if it was any better but honestly I noticed that it doesn't really need the Chia Seed. I like my smoothies to be as simple as possible. The less ingredients in a smoothie, the better.

Mono-meals (1 fruit) are usually easier on the stomach. This is why I usually only put 2 kinds of fruit in my smoothies. Sometimes I will even just do a Bananas only smoothie. If the bananas are ripe this can be one of the best tasting kinds of smoothies.

This smoothie tasted great!

Heres the recipe:
12 Ounces of Water
8 to 10 Bananas
1 Tablespoon of Chia Seed (Optional)
2 to 3 Cups of Mango (Frozen Preferred)
Blend To Your Desired Consistency

Today I just did a nice easy 3 mile run. During the video I talk about some of the things I eat before a run. Obviously it depends on what time that I run during the day. So today I just had a big smoothie for breakfast at around 11am. I had also been drinking a lot of water at that time. Then just half an hour before my run I had 2 dates, to just get some sugar in me. I think I am going to start trying to utilize dates as a pre workout snack.

I am hoping to come out with more videos like this one, where I discuss health and fitness tips and tricks while I am on the run.

Thanks again for watching my video.

I just wanted to give a quick recipe on ingredients to use in a smoothie.

For breakfast I always start out with a nice big smoothie. This helps me to get going for my day. A big good healthy meal is important for breakfast. I generally try to only use 2 kinds of fruit in my breakfast smoothie. I always use bananas and then I'll add some frozen fruit, like strawberries, blueberries, mango, or pineapple.

COMMENT below with other smoothie recipe's that I should try.

Today was a nice easy 3 mile run. 3 miles or 5k is my distance. I think I like the 3 mile distance because that's the distance I ran in my high school cross country races.

In college right now, we run 8k races which is about 4.9 miles, almost 5 miles. I have come to like this distance as well, but 3 miles is my go to distance. When I don’t know how far I want to run, I will usually just run three miles.

Today I had some stomach cramps on my run. I think it was from a lack of hydration prior in the day. I had not really drunk any water before my run. So after my run I drank like 1 liter of water.

Hydration and Nutrition is very important to be a successful runner.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The ORANGE (specifically, the sweet orange) is the fruit of the citrus species Citrus × sinensis in the family Rutaceae. The fruit of the Citrus sinensis is considered a sweet orange, whereas the fruit of the Citrus aurantium is considered a bitter orange. The orange is a hybrid, possibly between pomelo (Citrus maxima) and mandarin (Citrus reticulata), which has been cultivated since ancient times (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orange_(fruit)).
The TANGERINE (Citrus tangerina) is an orange-colored citrus fruit that is closely related to the mandarin orange (Citrus reticulata). Taxonomically, it may be named as a subspecies or variety of Citrus reticulata; further work seems to be required to ascertain its correct scientific name. Tangerines are smaller than common oranges, and are usually easier to peel and to split into segments. The taste is considered less sour, as well as sweeter and stronger, than that of an orange (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangerine).
The APPLE is the pomaceous fruit of the apple tree, species Malus domestica in the rose family (Rosaceae). It is one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits, and the most widely known of the many members of genus Malus that are used by humans. Apples grow on small, deciduous trees. The tree originated in Central Asia, where its wild ancestor, Malus sieversii, is still found today. Apples have been grown for thousands of years in Asia and Europe, and were brought to North America by European colonists (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple).
120 Pounds of BANANAS per week! How do I process it?
This is a very simple, easy way to process your BANANAS after buying them from the store.
If you like this video go on an give it a THUMBS UP :)
Oh yeah and SUBSCRIBE :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Instructions:
1) Buy a 40 pound box of Bananas from Smart & Final (or any other produce store).
2) Let box sit on kitchen floor for 3 to 5 days (or until Bananas are yellow, with some spots).

First Way:
3) Take Bananas out of box and take plastic out of box.
4) Line of two rows of Bananas on the bottom of box.
5) Put two bunches of Bananas on top of each of those rows.

Second Way:
3) Take top two rows of Bananas out of the box.
4) Do your best to take the plastic out.
5) Put top two rows of Bananas back where they were.

Third Way:
3) Take all Bananas out of the box.
4) Fill up bottom of container with one level of Bananas (as shown in the video).
5) Put one bunch of Bananas on top of each bunch.

I have been processing my bananas like this for the last 6 months and to me this seems like the easiest way.

2013 Google Plus Year End Review

Here is my 2013 Google Plus year end review. I hope you enjoyed watching.
If you like this video go on an give it a THUMBS UP!

2013 was a great year with a lot of big accomplishments. I ran my first 50km race in May 2013. I also ran a marathon with my girlfriend on December 26, 2013. It was called the Operation Jack Marathon, which was started to bring Autism awareness.

This year I plan on accomplishing much more goals of mine. I planned to run a 100k race on January 11, 2014 but had to drop and finish at the 50k mark. This race was called the Bandera 100k. I also plan to train like an olympian for 1 month. I plan to do this in April or May 2014.

Generally, I will have a smoothie with 8 to 10 bananas and 2 to 3 cups of any frozen fruit that is in the house, for breakfast. For lunch its usually something similar, and for dinner I will have either steamed rice or something high carb low fat vegan.

Don't forget to stay hydrated throughout the day. Hydration is key in living a healthy lifestyle. When you aren't hydrated you aren't yourself.
