As ultrarunners, we’re asked often, “why do you want to run that far?” It’s a question that we all learn to answer in different ways. When I first started my journey to run my first marathon, it was just to get faster at the timed two mile.


As I moved on and did my first 50k on a training run, I had to reflect and see why I was really doing this crazy, insane sport.


SCARY GOALS


It took me a while but I finally came to the conclusion, that at this time in my life, I run for scary goals.
